Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with us! We have now onboarded our first pool of volunteers. You are welcome to submit an application for our future intakes, we will consider these and be in touch at a future date.

The Role

Free to Feed's Leadership Empowerment and Communication Program results in the Cooking Experiences we are so well known for. The Program empowers people from refugee backgrounds through beautiful food, storytelling, and cultural exchange connecting them with a welcoming Melbourne community. That's thousands of curious cooks who walk through our doors, ready to learn and eat together!

We’re looking for passionate individuals to volunteer their time to support the delivery of these much loved and valued Cooking Experiences.

In return you will:

This opportunity suits community members who aren’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and support our community cooking experiences in a hands-on way. Having a genuine interest in building social cohesion, and being part of a diverse community of refugees, newly arrived migrants and team members from far and wide are a MUST!
