We continue our cinematic collaboration between Free to Feed and filmmaker Tim Melville who is exploring the journeys of three Free to Feed participants and what it means for them to connect with others through food.

MEET SHAHNAZ

Often catering for lively crowds of 20 or more family and friends, Shahnaz bakes fresh bread every morning in her traditional tandoor oven for her family. She loves sharing her knowledge of nutritious Persian cuisine with others in her community, including volunteering in Broadmeadow Elementary School's Healthy Eating Program.

Here, she shares her special relationship with cooking, in particular Sabzi Polow Mahi, a dish that brings her so much joy to prepare and transports her to another place and time...
